reframing the act of sharing

the future of Peerby

What is the meaning of sharing in a future society?

Peerby is a service that enables users to borrow the things they need from people in their neighbourhood. Members and transactions are growing exponentially since the launch in September 2012. With more than 100,000 active monthly members, Peerby has mature communities in the Netherlands and Belgium, London and Berlin, and is currently emerging in eight US pilot cities. Developing the Peerby service the Peerby team is looking for future-proof ideas. Reframing Studio facilitated a couple of Reframing workshops to discover the meaning of sharing in a future society and to come up with new services that would fit the future-user.
